Whether what happened at Fort Hood is related to mind control, the themes in “Men Who Stare at Goats,” and the Virginia Tech Massacre, will probably never be fully known, but the evidence that “energetically” connects these events in the material world is alarming. Even if these events are not causally related and I am simply regurgitating conspiracy theories, on a energetic level there is no doubt about their relationship to one another. The common consciousness binding these events is the consciousness of killing.

Unfortunately, when we peel back the self-obsessed layer of unreality that prevents us from seeing the world as it truly is (and this can only be done through thoughtful introspection, meditation, or consultation with friends and allies who have attained a certain level of peace and serenity in their own lives), we realize that in most cases, if we’ve experienced an argument or a negative encounter with a perceived “idiot,” there are usually two idiots involved in the altercation and one of them, sadly, is us.

To put those opening weekend numbers into perspective, Ang Lee’s “Hulk” currently stands as the #2 all-time opening weekend for any film. Overall, the film earned $245 million worldwide. Hardly a box office failure. With marketing costs factored in, the film likely broke even in theaters, but with residual revenues including video rentals, video game and toy spin-offs, pay-per-view, and cable television licensing fees, there is no doubt that the film was ultimately profitable.
