Does this mean I suddenly join the Aaron Rodgers Fan Club Space Craft, piloted by none other than Chief Rodgers’ Enthusiast Ron “Jaws” Jaworski? No it does not. Does this mean that I would not like the Jets to succeed with Packers legend Brett Favre at the helm? No, in fact nothing would make the New Yorker in me happier. Does this mean that I no longer wish that Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy realize the errors of his ways with respect to his actions during the Brett Favre Saga? No. But it does mean that focus my energy on the positive aspects of this story now that the first week of the 2008 NFL Season is finally under wraps? Read below to find out…

That afternoon, on my way home, I drove over to what will soon be our new home. It was a beautiful day, the sun shining through a swaying wall of trees surrounding the property, a crisp blue sky blanketing endlessly above. Since the sellers had already moved out, I felt secure knowing I could walk around the property and the grounds for a few moments and tap into the buzzing vibration of achieving what was at one point just a dream.

McCain will win his base and the 30% of whackos who still support President Bush, but Sarah Palin’s selection as VP candidiate will do nothing to capture the great divide of independents and moderates who will ultimately decide this election.
